This paper analyzes the essence and internal logic of rural living environment renovation in theory, and the achieved accomplishment during the 13th Five Year Plan period as well as the dilemma to be solved under the background of long-term goal of 2035 in practice. Furthermore, the paper puts forward the paths to improve the rural living environment, along with countermeasures and suggestions regarding strengthening the Party’s overall leadership, establishing a policy system, focusing on the mode innovation, increasing the capital investment, enhancing the training of talents and optimizing the long-term mechanism.
