Abstract:Based on the configuration perspective, this study constructs the theoretical model of open green innovation of manufacturing enterprises based on the TOE analysis framework, and uses the fsQCA method to analyze the configuration of A-share listed manufacturing enterprises in the industrial economic belt of Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and the Yangtze River Delta. The study finds that: (1) The open green innovation behavior of enterprises has multi-cause concurrency, and there are three kinds of effective driving paths, that is, the internal path composed of R&D intensity, enterprise growth and strategic flexibility, the external drive path dominated by supply chain pressure, and the internal and external twin path under the coordination and linkage of technology, organization and environmental conditions composed of R&D intensity, enterprise growth, strategic flexibility and supply chain pressure. (2) The internal and external twin path is the key path for enterprises to improve the performance level of open green innovation, in which strategic flexibility gradually replaces enterprise growth and becomes the core organizational condition driving open green innovation. (3) Supply chain pressure presents a strong driving structure with market pressure and competitive pressure as the core, and its effectiveness in improving the performance level of open green innovation is significant year by year. The research expands the research scope of green innovation through cross case configuration analysis, provides action guidance for the practice of open green innovation, and aims to realize green transformation by means of differentiated configuration according to the organizational endowment of the enterprise.
