Abstract:Economic growth depends on the input of factors. Under the background of the current factor marketization reform in China, land factor, as the most basic factor unit, has a strong practical significance to research the role of land factor in economic growth. This paper constructs a model of land element and economic growth, and uses provincial panel data to demonstrate and compare the contribution of land factor to the output growth of industrial and service sectors. The research results show that there is still a balanced growth path in the Solow model after including land factor, but the combined allocation efficiency of land and labor factor will affect the sustainability of economic growth. When the growth rate of land factor is higher than that of labor factor, Economic growth is sustainable, on the contrary, technological factor can make economic growth sustainable. This paper further constructs the coupling coordination of land and labor factors, including the structural relationship and the total amount relationship. The measured data shows that the coordination level of these two factor s in China is in the primary coordination state, with the highest level in the eastern region and the lowest level in the central region. In the future, local governments should pay attention to giving full play to their local advantages, deepen the reform of market-oriented allocation of industrial land, promote the rational conversion of different types of industrial land, improve the efficiency of the combined allocation of different factors and resources, and give full play to the synergistic effect of land and labor factor.
