With the development of the new round of global technological revolution, data elements have become the key to enhance the technical complexity of Chinese export and build a new development pattern of double cycle. In this paper, the influence of data elements on export technology complexity and its mechanism are discussed in depth, and the intermediary effect of market integration and the moderating effect of talent aggregation and financial development are analyzed empirically. The research findings are as follows: (1) The enhancement of export technical complexity is due to the enabling effect of data elements. Among the three sub-dimensions, data enabling application plays the most obvious role. (2) Improving the degree of market integration is an important channel to improve the technical complexity of data enabling export. (3) Talent aggregation and financial development positively moderated the enhancement effect of data enabling export technology complexity, and had a positive moderating effect on the mediating effect of market integration. From the perspective of data empowerment, this study provides policy enlightenment to improve the complexity of Chinese export technology and to promote the high-quality development of foreign trade.
