Abstract:Based on the provincial panel data of China from 2000 to 2020, a multiple mediating effect model was constructed according to the extended STIRPAT model. The super-efficiency SBM-DDF model and Luenberger analysis method were used to calculate China’s total factor carbon productivity, and technological innovation, industrial integration and industrial structure were introduced as mediating variables. To investigate the effect and path of informationization level on total factor carbon productivity in China. The results show that informatization level has a significant effect on energy conservation and carbon reduction, which can directly promote the growth of total factor carbon productivity in China. The level of informatization can indirectly promote the growth of China’s total factor carbon productivity through the effect of technological innovation, business form renewal and structure optimization. In order to accelerate the realization of informatization, promote "carbon peaking and carbon neutralization", and enhance total factor carbon productivity, digital development should be taken as the overall starting point, and the leading role of informatization should be played. To strengthen the support of green and low-carbon technology with reform and innovation as the fundamental driving force; Focusing on the new type of industrialization, IT application, urbanization and agricultural modernization, we will accelerate the cultivation of new low-carbon and environmentally friendly business forms. To promote the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure in the direction of green and low-carbon cycle.
