Further understanding of the value realization of ecological products from the perspective of green common prosperity has important implications for promoting high-quality development. On the basis of explaining the origin and connotation of green common prosperity, this article demonstrates the cognitive iteration and policy orientation of the value realization of ecological product , and then proposes the basic path of fair sharing of the value realization of rural ecological products. The research finds that green common prosperity is derived from common prosperity under the concept of green development. From this perspective, the research focus on the value realization of ecological products has shifted from the production and consumption of ecological products to the question of who do the value of ecological products realize for; Correspondingly, the formulation of policies for the value realization of ecological products has shifted from regional coordinated development and the transformation of ecological economic advantages to improving the fair sharing mechanism of ecological product value; Rural areas are the common focus of realizing the value of ecological products and promoting green common prosperity. The key path to promote the fair sharing of the value of rural ecological products is to expand the reproduction of ecological products led by the collective economy, encourage rural ecological environment governance through the whole process of people’s democracy, and promote the full sharing of the value of ecological products through the fair ecological income distribution system. In order to ensure the interests of villagers in the production and value realization process of ecological products, enhance the driving capacity of ecological product value realization for rural green common prosperity, and achieve rural green revitalization.
