Abstract:This paper uses inductive and deductive methods to propose six subsystems of digital transportation, and construct a comprehensive evaluation system of digital transportation and economic and social development level. Then, selecting the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2015 to 2020, by using entropy weight method, coupling coordination model, exploratory spatial data analysis and other methods to conduct empirical research. The research shows that: The overall development level of digital transportation in China is increasing year by year, and has a significant positive spatial correlation with economic development. But currently, it is still in the initial stage of development, with prominent issues such as the lack of comprehensive and systematic top-level design planning, low coordination and interaction between systems, and significant heterogeneity among regions, as well as unsatisfactory spatial benefits of some subsystems. Finally, based on the research findings, corresponding suggestions are proposed.
