Abstract:At present, the century old changes and the century epidemic are intertwined, and the economic globalization is facing a countercurrent. It is increasingly important and urgent to get rid of excessive dependence on the supply chain and maintain the security of the supply chain. In this context, based on the data of Chinese listed companies, this paper empirically examines the impact of digital transformation on supply chain dependence, as well as the role of governance difficulty and governance motivation. The research finds that: (1)Digital transformation significantly reduces the dependence of enterprises on the supply chain; (2)Based on the perspective of governance difficulty brought by the market environment, the slower the development of the product market where the enterprise is located, the more serious the regional segmentation, and the stronger the inhibition of digital transformation on supply chain dependence, which indicates that there is a substitute relationship between the digital transformation of the enterprise and the market environment; (3)The inhibition effect of digital transformation on supply chain dependence is more significant in private enterprises with strong governance motivation; (4) Extensibility analysis shows that the digital transformation of enterprises has improved the quality of supply chain resources while expanding supply chain resources to alleviate dependence problems.
