Since the 13th Five-Year Plan, the digital economy has been reshaping the regional economic pattern, and the digital connection between cities has become increasingly close. Based on the panel data of 277 cities at the prefecture level and above in 2011-2021, this paper tests the effective impact mechanism of digital economy on the resilience of urban economy from the theoretical and empirical perspective of industry. The study found that: first, the development of the digital economy will enhance the resilience of urban economies and amplify the resilience of urban economies at the time of impact. However, the development trend is inverted "U" type, and the decline is the market disorder caused by the second, the government finance will broaden the influence channels of digital economy, but the transformation should be realized through the market mechanism and the transformation of government functions; third, the digital economy accelerates the economic resilience spillover of central cities, and the central-peripheral pattern at the national level will weaken the economic resilience; fourth, the urban agglomeration level will promote the economic resilience growth of neighboring cities with similar scale, and produce heterogeneity based on the administrative structure of urban agglomeration. From the perspective of industrial development, the conclusion provide policy reference for the municipal government, cities, urban clusters and regions to strengthen digital construction and strengthen the resilience of urban economy.
