Promoting GVC upgrading of advanced manufacturing industry by servitization is an important measure for China to build a manufacturing power and a trading power. Based on the perspective of technological innovation, this paper constructs a research model based on the theoretical analysis of the mediating and moderating effects of technological innovation input and technological innovation output on the relationship between servitization and GVC upgrading of advanced manufacturing industries, and based on this, explores the mechanism of servitization promoting GVC upgrading of advanced manufacturing industries. The results show that the servitization can significantly promote the GVC upgrading of advanced manufacturing industry through the intermediary role of technological innovation input and technological innovation output, digitalization and market competition play a moderating role in this process; Technological innovation input and technological innovation output also palys a positive moderating effect role in the relationship between servitization and GVC upgrading of advanced manufacturing industry; Further analysis shows that the role of different types and degrees of technological innovation input and technological innovation output in the process of servitization promoting GVC upgrading of advanced manufacturing industries has heterogeneous characteristics. Based on the perspective of technological innovation, this paper systematically reveals the mechanism of servitization promoting the upgrading of advanced manufacturing industry, and provides an important theoretical basis for promoting GVC upgrading of advanced manufacturing industry based on servitization.
