Abstract:Social health insurance is an effective way to promote the popularization of palliative care, playing a significant role in improving service quality and reducing costs. By using statistical methods, this paper analyzes policies related to social health insurance participation in palliative care services in 27 regions from 2017 to 2024, focusing on four aspects: coverage, financing, payment, and regulation. Drawing on international advanced experiences, it proposes an optimized path that includes expanding coverage, diversifying funding channels, reforming payment methods, improving regulatory mechanisms, and promoting the construction of information technology.
