Abstract:With the rapid development of the global digital economy, countries around the world are increasingly focusing on the supply, operation, and governance of digital public goods. China is also actively exploring the construction of a digital public goods ecosystem based on collaborative governance. This article examines the international experience of open collaborative governance of digital public goods in terms of technology supply, operational organization, and institutional mechanisms, and summarizes and proposes a collaborative governance ecosystem for digital public goods. Through these research findings, we provide suggestions for further exploring the effective utilization of digital public goods in areas such as open source technology development, digital public infrastructure construction, and market applications. We also propose recommendations for building China’s digital public goods ecosystem to provide insight into advancing the development of a digital technology innovation ecosystem in China.
