Abstract:Promoting high-quality development of manufacturing industry is not only necessary for building a modern industrial system and realizing new industrialization, but also an inevitable requirement for accelerating the development of new quality productivity. Digital transformation of manufacturing is an important way to develop new quality productivity. This article selects the demonstrator of “Digital Manufacturing” and “Globalization 4.0”-“Lighthouse Factory”- as the research object, aiming to deeply analyze the practical obstacles of digital transformation of manufacturing industry empowering new quality productivity, and explore the practical path in depth. In response to the obstacles and problems in the five aspects of conceptual cognition, talent support, technological pain points, data foundation, and industrial ecology, this study takes the exemplary practice of digital transformation in manufacturing industry-Lighthouse Factory as an example, by analyzing the digital transformation practices of multiple typical “lighthouse factories”, summarizing the dynamic evolution process of digital empowerment of new quality productivity as “traction-upgrading-transformation-emergence”, starting from the five dimensional path of “development new paradigm-talent new driving force-technology new cornerstone-data new potential-industry new ecology”. This study constructs an innovative practice and feasible path of “digital benchmark traction-labor factor upgrading-industry ecological transformation” to empower new quality productivity in the digital transformation of manufacturing industry. This study aims to inspire and provide policy insights for promoting the digital transformation of Chinese manufacturing enterprises and empowering the development of new quality productivity.
