Abstract:As a new type of production factor, data has profoundly transformed traditional modes of production. However, with the deep involvement of capital in the development of the digital economy, digital technology has come to be dominated by the logic of capital, thereby being reshaped into a carrier of specific production relations and becoming a kind of “digital power.” Digital power is the manifestation of capital power in the digital age, and its essence is capital’s control over labor and the distribution of profits, rooted in the private ownership of digital means of production and the class relations determined by it.
