This article summarizes the researc h results on the measurement of regio nal economic development im-balance in China,analyses and studi es the economy development imbalance of China from multi -space -dimension(province,city and region -three zon es -coastal and inland areas)and multi -perspective(production level,in-come level and consumption level)in 1990s by using multi -index united method and multi -index composed method,reveals the dynamic transfo rmation of economic development imb alance of China in 1990s.
