On the basis of using the correlation research achievement this paper att empts to probe into the advance alert theory of regional economic di fference including its concept,index,model,alert limits and operatio n pro-cess.Applying the theory the paper e valuates the status of alerting of re gional economic absolute and relati ve dif-ferences in Xinjiang today forecasts the future alert situation and intr oduces the policy control counterme asures under state of alert.
