Chinese TD -SCDMA was officially acc epted as a member of the standard fami ly of 3G on the ITU Conference in May 2000.The core mobi le technology is of strategic importance to China,which has the biggest mobile -users.But there will be many uncertainties in the future develop ment process of 3G technology and mar-ket.The authors believe traditional mode of innovation is no longer effe ctive.Chinese manufacturers must s trive to turn Chinese 3G standard into dominant standard of the whole industry by i ntegrated innovation mode.Integra ted innovation of technology,market,development,organization and institution will build the competitive ed ge for China in the world market.
