Based on the definition of competen ce of regional industry,the paper se lects a group of indexes to e-valuate the capacity,and establish es an evaluating model by principal c omponents analysis.And then,takin g Zhejiang province as example,the paper makes some empirical analysis an d preliminary evaluation on the region' s industrial competence.
