This paper discuses the application of the Internet in carrying out susta inable development strategy.Firstly,it primarily proposes the c onstruction and implementation app roaches of information system on sustainable development,analyzes the existing problems of information sharing in C hina.It also designs 3information s hare mechanisms and the project of govern mental information dissemination.According to a particular investigation,this paper analyzes the present situatio n of electronic commerce applicatio n to environmental protection industry,in-cluding the existing problems and ma rket outlook of electronic commerce in China.On this basis,the paper pro-poses a feasible means to solve these problems.
