This paper examines the patent activities in Zhejiang province. It analyzes the statue of patent development in the province and concludes its basic features. Then the paper explores the main problems and suggests some methods to solve them. It is highlighted that selection of an appropriate patent strategy plays an important role in promoting the regional innovation capacity and market competition ability.
