In an environment of fierce competition the success in politics is as important for enterprises as their success in market.This is because success in politics will create an advantageous institutional environment in enterprises.Corporate political action (abbr.CPA)refers to the enterprises' actions which will influence the government policies and regulations.The study of CPA in developed countries began in 1970's and big achievements have been made.This paper integrates all the studies of CPA in the developed countries and comments on them.They will provide new ideas and methods for CPA study in China.
