Guided by the complex system theory and the system dynamics (SD), this paper has developed a system dynamics model of the city construction system from the macro and micro perspectives to seek the basic rules in the process of the city's construction. The ultimate aim of the paper is to promote the quality of the construction and to harmonize the development of the construction and the social-economy in a city.
