The environment and the resources are the constraints of modern economic development. Based on the theory of sustainable development, the article defines the meanings of the environmental capacity, the bearing capacity of resources, analyzes the environmental capacity and the bearing capacity of resources of Yunnan Province and presents the measures of realizing the sustainable economic development.
