Abstract:China and South Korea share a long history of close relationship in race, culture, politics and economy, etc. It is of great importance to analyze and compare industrial technology policy between China and South Korea and to learn Korean experience of industrial policy evolution. Located in East Asia, China and South Korea's geographic and economic space make this two countries' economic development complementary and competitive mutually. Currently, the two countries adopt different logics in economic expansions. Communications between Shandong province and South Korea is a miniature that takes in almost all the development phases of economic expansion and contents. Therefore, it is theoretically and practically necessary to study Shandong's regional economic alternatives toward that of South Korea.
