Information resources sharing has become an increasingly popular topic. It becomes a common knowledge that information can also benefit its owner. This paper, using a utility extension based analysis method, discusses the information sharing among different information service systems. The paper proposes a rational hypothesis and a game theory for the utility extension - based information sharing decision making model, through which information can be reasonably shared among different systems.
