The global warming has intensified the "heat island effect" of the urban environment, imposing serious impacts on the ecological system, water cycle, atmospheric environment, human health and infrastructures in the urban areas. Strengthening the study of climatic change and its impacts, therefore, can benefit urban planning, build up the bearing capacity of the urban areas, and improve residents' living environment and life quality.
