The problem of food safety is one of the deterring factors to raising peasants' income and adversely affects the progress in the construction of a well-off economy in our country.To make the construction of a well-off economy proceed smoothly, food safety must be ensured.In this paper is set forth a proposal on how to introduce to China the advanced management experience now prevalent in other countries.In this connection some relevant policy advice is also given.
