Abstract:As the development of cross-administrative-region economic integration is surging ahead in China, the move toward cross administrative regions cooperation and communication of science and technology is accelerating--especially in both Yangtze delta and Pearl delta.This paper focuses on analyzing the causes leading to cross-administrative-region cooperation and communication of science and technology against the background of scarcity of science and technological resources, spatially economic and technological links and semi-public products produced by governments, summarizing the three models of cross-administrative-region cooperation and communication of science and technology.In this paper is also offered-on the basis of experience, accumulated by the European Union, of cross-administrative-region cooperation and communication of science and technology-an expatiation on the policy implications for both central and local governments to improve the effect of cross-administrative-region cooperation and communication of science and technology.
