This paper focuses on setting forth a framework suitable for the conducting of a mechanism study on traditional FDI flow on the basis of relevant literature.Moreover, apart from putting foreword a new framework of mechanism study on FDI flow pursuant to economic globalization, this paper presents an empirical analysis of the industrial and spatial structure of the world's top 500 TNC's investments in Suzhou City and identify such characteristics of TNC's investments in Suzhou as are reflected in origin of such an investment, industrial and spatial structure of any of TNC's investments.
