The labor emigration accelerates the aging process in rural area, and it has significant effects on the rural old people's life. Using the data of the sample survey of "the rural old people's welfare life condition in Anhui Province" which carried on in Chaohu city, this paper analyzes the effects of labor emigration on structural and supporting functions performed by a family, and puts forward some suggestions and measures for improving rural old people's present living conditions.
