The strategy of Extensive Zhujiang River Delta economic zone, which is embraced by nine provinces, including Guangdong, provides not only a new form of regional economic co-operation in China but also offers some revelations to Northwest China. This paper summarizes the trend of regional economic co-operation in China and analyzes the regional co-operation characteristics of Extensive Zhujiang River Delta. Based on regional economic development level and co-operation situation, the authors put forward suggestions on regional economic co-operation in Northwest China.
