Based on quantitative analysis of status quo of industrialization of rural area, this paper summarize the characteristics of township enterprises. Then it brings forward a viewpoint that rural industrialization is still in industry - agriculture phase, and also has great regional disparity in China. Although rural industrialization made a greet contribution to the economy and society development, but it was a way of high - cost, high - output and low - efficiency. Finally, it analyses the circumstances and trend of rural industrialization.
