Abstract:Industry growth could be derived from learning and accumulation of internal technology capabilities. Based on the coordination of relevant concepts of technology capabilities, the paper established an analytic framework that technology impulses industry growth: accumulate technology capabilities though learning, and then achieve industry growth. Based on the framework and from different technology sources, it analyzed the role of technology importation, transfer and domestic self-reliance R&D in the accumulating process of multi-layers technology capabilities of Chinese electronics industry since 1990's.In the end, the paper investigated the promotion role of technology structure to industry growth through Pearson analysis and exportation structure changes.
