That statistical data quality managed by government is one of the most important parts of the public management policies. Under the background of globalization, the government statistical work must link up with the world along with china has joined WTO and GDDS. So the data quality has more relations to the progress of socialistic modernization than before. At first, the paper analyses the intra-meaning of the data quality, then on the base of advance experience of developed country, it studies the developing trends and countermeasures on the data quality management based on the principle of "efficient, fair, scientific" from the views of public management, according to fundamental realities of our country.
