With the industry competition increasingly focused on environmental protection characteristics of products, industrial ecosystem engineering has been an important activity to enhance enterprise's competitive power. Industrial ecosystem engineering must use IEE tools. The paper sums up the IEE tools that general used in industrial ecosystem engineering activities, and divides them into four types. Then, it analyses the function and applicable scale of every tool. At last, it puts forward the system method that can use the four types of tools synthetically.
