The independent innovation capability of the corporations is the basis of the capability of a country. In order to promote the independent innovation capability of our country, strengthening the independent innovation capability of corporations must be placed in a prominent position. But the corporations' innovation capability is rather weak in China up to now, which is influenced by both external environment and internal conditions. So, corporations should build and strengthen their own capability, enhance the innovation stimulating mechanism, foster internal innovation culture, and synthesize the external technical resources. Moreover, the government should forge a better environment for innovation, strengthen the effective protection of intellectual property rights, promote integral advance of technology chain through strategic planning, increase direct input to generic technology, and facilitate the industry-university-research collaborations which should lead by corporations.
