This paper uses the panel data model and the time-varying parameter model to analyze the effects of active fiscal policy on the regional economic growth and disparity in China. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) The active fiscal policy has stronger positive effects on regional economic growth, it has the biggest influence on the west region, then the middle region, and the least influence on the east region. (2) The active fiscal policy has relative stronger negative effects on regional economic convergence, but the effects become more and more smaller.
