It is fundamental to evaluate Wuhan urban economic and social development for making the new development strategies. In this paper, the economic and social indexes system is designed, and the principle component analysis is used to disclosed that the first factor is related to comprehensive development abilities, and the second one is related to the population and resource usages. Finally, the development strategies are provided.
