No matter in the revolutionary war period or in the peace-time of socialist construction, having taken independent innovation as its basic guideline, Chinese Communist Party made great achievements both in the resolution and construction. Especially during the period of more than 50 years since the foundation of People's Republic of China, the leaders of Chinese Communist Party tried hard to explore corresponding suitable ways and theories. They discoursed upon in detail the importance of independent innovation, the relation between innovation and study, and the innovation in science and technology, etc. With this effort, the theory of independent innovation with Chinese characteristics is formed, and it successfully directed Chinese science and technology project to a rapid development.
