Abstract:The difference between the consumption patterns of urban and rural residents mainly lie in the different degree of consumer agglomeration, which derives from externality of consumption, economics of scale, the cycle of cumulative causation, the effect of network. In order to enhances the effect on consumer agglomeration of rural residents and narrow the difference of consumption patterns between urban and rural residents, the modern information technology, financial means and commercial type are used to innovate the consumption tools and systems, improve the supply of rural public consumer goods, and expand public space of rural consumer.
