Based on a research on the present regional independent innovation(RII) in China,this article concludes several effective methods of improving the capability of RII and some thoughts on RII,and also makes some specific suggestions on reinforcing the capability of RII.The article claims that it should provide classified guidance for different independent innovation in different regions,forms and industries.Consumer-dominant close university-industry-research cooperation and innovation platform construction which to meet with the regional common technical demand are the important means for improving the capability of RII.
