This paper discusses the relationships between culture tradition,social capital and technology innovation by the theories of philosophy,economics,sociology and science of management and so on.The author deems the cultural traditions of China and Westward have obvious differences and very strong complementarities.The author thinks the cul- ture traditions impact upon the founding and multiplications of social capital and then the culture traditions and social capital impact upon technology innovation:the culture traditions may impact upon technology innovation at first hand or through the intermedium of social capital.
