Self innovation serves as an important basis for the sustainable development of Chinese locomotive & rolling stock industry.Meanwhile,it is the subjective requirement to construct an innovative country and implement railway leap-forward strategy.Currently,the technological innovation mode of Chinese locomotive & rolling stock is first mar- ket-oriented and then technology-oriented;based on definition of technological breakthrough point,constructing ef- fective integrated innovation platform and creating a sound policy environment for sustainable and effieient operation of the platform is the key factor to improve self innovation capability of Chinese locomotive & rolling stock industry.
