The purpose of the paper is to provide policy suggestion for developing advanced enterprises with strong international competitive ability during "the eleventh-five plan" through the empirical research on the potential of the international competitive priorities of the Yangtze Delta manufacturing industry.Based on the questionnaire of 569 manufacturing enterprises,we have analyzed 10 competitive priorities that influence the international competitive abilities,such as technology level,innovation ability and management system,found the advantages and shortages of the Yangtze Delta manufacturing enterprises in different level of competitive priority,and pointed out the problems that need to be improved yet.
