The study on social impact of crisis event is an important portion of crisis management research, Currently, social impact assessment does not yet have a fully elaborated, generally accepted typology, This paper proposes one assessment method of social impact of crisis event based on network information resources, which is proved to be feasible by validity assessment. Meanwhile the paper provides the corresponding analysis to the appraisal outcome.
