Residential energy efficiency is quite important for the sustainable development of our community. Based on the introduction of market dynamics of Energy - saving Housing in China, this paper analyzes the factors affecting the decision - makings for Energy - saving Housing demand and supply by using the mathematical economic ways. The results indicate that asymmetric information, housing finance policy, tax policy and insurance policy are the major effective factors. Thus, the paper develops a policy framework to promote the residential energy efficiency in China.
