This paper compares China's position with those of the major donors of WFP in the world food aid arena,and analyzes thoroughly the motives and objectives of large-scale food aid of the U.S.A.and India.It builds a SWOT matrix through a SWOT analysis for China's cooperation strategy with WFP of the United Nations in a new era,and finally makes policy recommendations for the new cooperation strategy relating to the strategic positioning,strategic goals,forms of cooperation,and guarantee measures.
