The thesis analyzed the policy system of improving the competitiveness of China' s automobile industry from automotive industry policy and automotive demand policy.Then the functional mechanism and main character- istics for automotive industry policy were put forward.In addition,authors appraised the new automotive industry policies of China.And finally the authors presented some advices for improving the competitiveness of China' s au- tomobile industry.
