International technological acquisition is becoming a very important channel for companies in developing coun- tries to catch up the latest technology.But this way has a high risk,especially for the dynamic industry.In this paper, we take BOE as a case in which it transformed itself from a CRT company to a TFT-LCD supplier by the acquisition of a Korean company,and analyze its misplay and achievement.The paper summarizes some problems that should pay at- tention to in realizing the innovation by this kind of technological acquisitions,and puts forward some corresponding sug- gestions.
