The harmonious development of ecologically vulnerable area in west China is the important part of national project on building a well-off society.The paper gives the definition of ecologically vulnerable area in west China and analyzes the features of it.Against the economic and social development outstanding problems of ecologically vulnerable area in west China,the paper discusses the harmonious development mechanism of the area to build its evaluation mod- el,and then brings the four evaluation system to test its development.
